“Bad Luck”
|
|
Corporal
Edgar Partridge, of the Army Pay Corps, Warley, Essex,
identified the body of Fanny Partridge, aged 38, his
sister-in-law and the wife of Staff Sergeant Partridge,
now serving in the
Persian Gulf
.
Witness
also identified Mrs Partridge’s two children – James
aged eight, and Robert Edgar aged six.
They
came to
England
, because they did not think they were safe in the
district in which they were living in
India
, and they hoped to settle down here. The climate however,
proved too much for them.
The
Coroner: Bad luck? – Yes. |
